An Air Busan Airbus A321 experienced a fire incident while preparing for departure at Busan Gimhae International Airport. The fire, which erupted in the tail section of the aircraft, caused extensive damage and ultimately destroyed the fusilage. The aircraft was scheduled to depart for Hong Kong, and all passengers and crew were safely evacuated.

Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene and managed to control the blaze. During the emergency evacuation, three individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries. "We are relieved that there were no serious injuries and we managed to avoid a potential disaster," stated a fire department spokesperson. The affected individuals were promptly attended to by medical personnel on-site.


An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. Initial reports suggest that the flames originated from the tail section of the aircraft.


The incident resulted in temporary disruptions at Busan Gimhae International Airport. Efforts are being made to restore normal operations, and the airport authorities have assured passengers of the highest safety standards moving forward.
